Hey Product Hunt 👋 Sofia here, co-founder of Taim.

Everyone's asking lately what AI product the "average consumer" will actually use every day. We think we have an answer.

I spent years in finance, and my best ideas never showed up at my desk. They showed up on the commute, on walks, in the shower, and they were gone by the time I sat back down. That's really two problems. First you have to catch the thought before it disappears, then you have to put it somewhere you'll find it again. Most tools help with one and leave the other to you.

Say whatever’s in your head and Taim routes it to the right thread, then turns it into tasks, reminders, and calendar events. No folders, no tagging, no prompts to write. Over time it grows into a knowledge base that’s actually yours: one you never have to maintain, and that gives all your agents context.

Taim is live on the App Store, Desktop & WatchOS.

We'd love your honest feedback. What's the first thing you'd brain dump? Adi and I are here all day answering everything.

Any plans for Android? I love the concept; my notes are a mess, and you're right that ideas cross all types of categories, so auto-categorization is the part I'm really interested in. I would 100% use it for voice notes on my phone, that then get routed to work or personal project categories, and surfaced again when I'm in those workspaces.

I have almost 2,000 apple notes from mostly me putting in ideas and thoughts I have throughout the day then them getting lost with the others, but taim now organizes these in different folders which helps me find them again. Curious though what else you have planed for Taim?

Love this approach! 🙌 The idea of capturing thoughts in the moment and having them automatically turn into actionable tasks is super useful. I’d probably start with a brain dump of random ideas, pending tasks, and things I don’t want to forget throughout the day. Excited to see how Taim evolves! 🚀

It actually came in pretty handy at work. As a lawyer I have to juggle multiple cases at once, and being able to keep track of all the little procedural details, deadlines, ideas for arguments, and reminders to call clients in one place has been a real help. The threads part is probably my favourite, it’s so helpful to see everything organised by case without worrying about losing track of specific thoughts or small tasks. Definitely saved me time!

I’ve been using Taim since July, it’s helping me to stay updated on what my cofounder is thinking & working on. We can’t visualize the thinking this easy with other apps.

Capturing a thought just by talking and having Taim drop it into the right thread is a great idea, Sofia! The watchOS app makes a lot of sense for those walks. When one spoken note could fit two threads, or turns into a task and a calendar event at the same time, does Taim show you where it put everything so you can move it?

I have so many random notes on my phone that I never look at again. Really like the idea behind this, especially the voice part.

This is amazing Sophia! My thoughts definitely need Taim. Wish you all the best here

probably a half finished app store description for something i havent actually built yet, those just live in my head otherwise

Tried multiple apps to solve this problem in my daily routine before finally finding Taim, the UI is very simple and intuitive for what I want to use it for. What enhancements are coming in the future?

Use Taim for brain dumping as an adhd person with a super busy schedule I have multiple lists on my phone in my notes etc but with taim I just brain dump via voice note without a specific structure and it does it for me

Catching a thought and deciding where it belongs are two separate jobs, so I'm glad you're tackling both. The useful test for me would be finding that thought a week later without remembering how I phrased it.
