Tailgate Squares
Game-day squares pools without spreadsheets or manual math
Tailgate Squares is a free beta for creating and running football and college basketball squares pools. Organizers choose a game, set up the board, and share one private link and access code. Participants claim squares from any device—no account required. Live scores are matched to the grid, quarter and game winners appear automatically, and completed results stay archived. It replaces spreadsheets, manual score checks, and halftime math with one mobile-friendly game-day screen.
Hey Product Hunt! I built Tailgate Squares after seeing how much game-day squares pools still depend on spreadsheets, group texts, screenshots, and somebody doing score math at halftime. The goal was simple: let an organizer create a pool in minutes, share one private link, and let everyone follow the board, live scores, and winners from their phone. During beta it’s completely free—no credit card, no per-pool fees, and unlimited pools. I’d especially love feedback from people who organize football watch parties, office pools, alumni events, or March Madness groups: what would make your next pool easier to run?
