👋 Hi Product Hunt — I’m Saulius, the maker of TabShow. I built it around a small but recurring frustration: once Chrome’s tab strip collapses titles into favicons, finding one page turns into a sequence of wrong clicks. TabShow puts open tabs in Chrome’s side panel. Point at a tab in the current window to preview the live page. Click if it is the right one, or move away to return to the page you were using. Version 2.0 adds: • Search by title, URL, or domain • Current-window and all-window views • Arrow-key navigation, Enter to switch, and Escape to return • Sorting by browser order, recent use, recent addition, domain, or group • Context for groups, pinned tabs, audio, sleeping tabs, and duplicates TabShow is intentionally not a workspace or session-saving system. It leaves live tabs live and helps you recognize the right page before committing to a switch. It is free and has no account, backend, ads, tracking, or host permissions. It cannot read the contents of webpages. I would especially love feedback on three things: 1. Does the hover-preview delay feel right? 2. Is the current-window versus all-window behavior clear? 3. What tab context would help you decide faster? You can also leave ideas and vote on the public feedback board: https://narsheek.featurebase.app/ Thanks for taking a look. I’ll be here throughout the launch and will answer every thoughtful question.

Who hunted TabShow?

TabShow was hunted by Saulius. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
