Every time I needed a table in a Medium write-up or research report, I hit the same wall. Every tool was too heavy, rigid or exported something I was not happy to use. So I built Tablesmit. Free, open-source, no account. Export to PDF, Excel, LaTeX, CSV, PNG or JPEG. Smart paste from Excel. Works offline. The LaTeX export surprised me most. Researchers paste straight intotex files. Medium writers export as PNG. Analysts get client-ready PDFs. Lighthouse 90+. MIT licensed. Built in Lagos.

Hi Product Hunt,

I am Olayiwola, the developer behind Tablesmit. I built this because I kept needing to put one clean, formatted table into a document, and every tool I found made it harder than it needed to be. No account should be required to download a PNG of a table.

The feature that surprised me most was the LaTeX export. I added it because one researcher asked. I assumed it was niche. It turned out to be the most talked about thing in the product. It generates a complete tabular environment, column alignment from the column type, special characters escaped, caption included. Paste straight into your .tex file.

A few things I am proud of: 1,083 tests passing across 139 test files, Lighthouse 90+ on all metrics, works completely offline as a PWA, eight languages including Arabic RTL, no account required ever, MIT licensed. I am here all day to answer questions and hear feedback. If something does not work the way you expect, tell me. I will fix it.

Thank you for trying it.
