I'm Yash. I built Tabisto because I open a new tab forty times a day and was tired of staring at a search bar. I wanted something visual, calm, fast, and mine.
What it is, in one sentence: a new-tab replacement that's actually organized. Bookmarks live in workspaces (Personal, Work, Research), each with its own wallpaper and notes. A ⌘K palette finds anything. Reminders fire as real Chrome notifications. Sessions save your 12-tab research mazes for later.
What I'm proudest of:
▸ It's local-first. Works fully offline, no account required. Cloud sync is opt-in and uses Supabase RLS — only you can read your data.
▸ 27 wallpapers, 5 grid styles, 11 accent colors, 10 fonts. Every slider moves the UI live. The customization is uncommonly beautiful for a free extension.
▸ Cloud sync is free for any signed-in user. Most extensions paywall this. I think syncing your own bookmarks shouldn't cost $5/month.
