Tab Organizer by PromptPilot
Free Chrome tab manager that finds duplicate, stale
Tab Organizer finds duplicate, stale and rarely used Chrome tabs and lets you clear them with a swipe. Park the maybes for later and let AI sort the rest into named tab groups. Free, private (your history stays on your device), and everything has Undo.
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Abhishek, maker of Tab Organizer.
I always had 80+ tabs open: three copies of the same doc, tabs from last week I was "going to read", and leftover sign-in pages. Existing tab managers mostly just group or save tabs. I wanted something that helps me actually close them.
So Tab Organizer is cleanup first:
- It spots copies, stale tabs, tabs you rarely use, and leftovers like error pages
- You sweep through them like cards: left to close, down to park, right to keep
- Park a set of tabs as one stack and bring them back in one click
- AI sorts what's left into named Chrome tab groups, and you preview before anything changes
- Ctrl+Shift+K finds any tab
It's free. Your visit history stays on your computer, Incognito is never recorded, and every action can be undone. For AI you can use the free built-in one, your own key, or none at all.
I'd love to hear how many tabs you have open right now, and what would make you trust a tool to close them.
