I built SystemDesignBoard after bombing a system design interview because I spent the first 5 minutes fighting Excalidraw instead of thinking about the architecture.
The idea: a whiteboard that already knows about services, databases, cloud providers, and trade-offs — so you can focus on the design, not the tooling.
A few things I'm proud of:
→ The animated connectors actually show communication type (sync vs async vs stream) — not just arrows
→ Diagram-as-Code lets you type your architecture and it auto-lays out in seconds
→ The whole thing is keyboard-driven — place a node, connect it, annotate it without ever touching the mouse
