Real-time setlist sync for live bands. The leader taps a song — every musician's iPad instantly switches to their own part: lyrics for the singer, chord chart for the guitarist, score for the horn player. Works fully offline over local network. No WiFi, no subscription per band member. Built by a working musician for working musicians.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Bas — a working musician (bass, bands of all shapes) and a developer. syncMNFST is me scratching my own itch.
The problem: I've been on stage too many times where the band leader calls an audible mid-set, and the next 20 seconds turn into chaos. The singer flipping pages looking for lyrics. The horn player searching for the right chart. The drummer not sure what tempo we're going at. By the time everyone's ready, the moment's already gone — and the audience felt it.
Existing tools (BandHelper, OnSong, Set List Maker) all solve adjacent problems — but none of them treat real-time multi-musician sync as the core feature. They're built for one musician with one screen. We perform as bands.
So I built syncMNFST around one idea: one tap by the leader = every musician's iPad instantly switches to their own part. Lyrics for the singer. Score for the horn player. Chord chart for the guitarist. All synced over local network — no WiFi, no per-musician subscription.
This is pre-launch — waitlist is open at syncmnfst.com. Building in public, talking to working musicians (cover bands, wedding bands, jazz combos, function bands). If you've ever been on stage when an audible got called, I'd love to hear your war stories.
Cheers,
Bas
The offline local network setup is genuinely smart for venue gigs where WiFi is unreliable or nonexistent. Love that it was built by someone who actually knows the pain of paper charts at a noisy bar.
The local network approach is genuinely smart, especially for venues with garbage wifi. Built by someone who clearly plays the gigs, not just codes them.
