SwipeIt turns years of photos, screenshots, and forgotten downloads into a fast swipe-right-to-keep, swipe-left-to-toss habit. Swipe right to keep. Swipe left to let go.
I always like to build tools which solve a pain I face. That is how I have gotten into "Automating Boringness". For a long time, after a few months, my download folder always gets full. At some point those 2-3gbs of 3-4k files begin to become important when space is low.
By then, going through this many files is almost impossible. The numbers are too many and the size is too low but I also don't want to lose anything important. That is how 1gb became 2gb then 3gb.
What was very annoying was having to open see it then delete it, but this only works for pictures, everything else required something to open whether a pdf viewer, an office app etc.
So this brought the idea, a preview of every file type and swiping it to keep or mark as delete. Easy, quick, smooth and fun!
Try it out and see :)
