Hi PH! We built SwipeCart because the "what's for dinner" argument was a daily thing. What finally worked was removing the blank page: show me dinners, let me say yes or no, and have an agent do the shopping.
That last part is the hard part. The agent resolves every ingredient to a real Walmart or Kroger SKU, does the package math (2 lb of beef across two recipes is two 1 lb rolls, not three), sets aside the pantry staples you already own, and works around out-of-stock items before anything hits your cart. Five dinners for four came to $109.49 at Walmart this week, and $30.80 of that was staples most people already have.
Other things worth knowing: 1,120 recipes with photos, every one priced from live store data. Allergen filtering uses verified ingredient data and fails closed. Swipe with a partner and only the dinners you both want get shopped. And the whole loop runs inside Claude and ChatGPT as a standard MCP connector ("deal me 5 dinners, like 1 and 3, build my list"), same account, same engine. Meta Muse is in review.
