We're back with a major SwiftXR update that connects the whole journey: create an interactive product experience, customise it, publish it and understand how customers engage.
The headline addition is SwiftXR Assistant. Start with your product and describe what you want to build. Then ask the Assistant to refine lighting, camera framing, dimensions or colour options, and review the changes before publishing.
This release also brings improved engagement analytics and Web MCP support, alongside interactive product customisation and publishing for websites and online stores.
For customers, the result is an experience they can explore in 3D and preview in their space with AR or interactively in VR. For creators and businesses, it's a simpler path from a product idea to a published experience, with visibility into views, engagement, and customer actions.

The Web MCP support is the detail that jumps out most to me here. We build an AI agent product ourselves, and giving an agent a structured way to actually query a 3D/AR scene - camera state, what the customer is looking at, which colour option is active - is a very different integration story than just embedding a viewer widget. Is the MCP surface read-only for analytics right now, or can an agent also drive the scene (change angle, swap material) through it?
tracking exactly how customers rotate and explore the product is a brilliant analytics feature.
