It started when I tried to clean up my photos with the default gallery app — but it never felt intuitive. Social media apps, on the other hand, always did: it's so easy to favorite, save things into collections, or drop a comment to capture what I was thinking. My gallery just couldn't do any of that.
So I had an idea: what if I turned the gallery into an offline social app? A place where you can "dumbscroll" through your own memories, one photo at a time, and leave comments on them — all offline, no internet needed. I added a hashtag system too, so finding a photo again later is effortless.
Sweepify is the result: photo cleanup that finally feels as natural as scrolling a feed.
