HTML5 canvas and SVG have been known for their complementary nature. While canvas is programmable, it renders rasterized graphics and while SVG renders high-quality vector graphics, it can be a pain to dynamically program it.
This pushed me to build an API that allows developers to use JavaScript to dynamically render SVG on the DOM.
Real DOM output is a smart call, so many libs generate strings that break accessibility and CSS integration. Love that you kept the API familiar for canvas folks without sacrificing SVG semantics.
