I built Supplier Risk Radar after spending years working with supplier quality and development in manufacturing.
One thing I kept seeing was that a supplier could look perfectly healthy on the traditional scorecard — good quality, good delivery, competitive cost — while still carrying a risk that could seriously disrupt supply.
A single production site. A critical sub-tier dependency. Capacity constraints. Financial weakness. Compliance exposure. Geopolitical risk.
So I wanted to build something that separates supplier performance from supplier risk, while still making the result practical enough for an actual supplier review.
The toolkit brings those different risk dimensions together, visualizes the exposure, and connects identified risks to mitigation actions and ownership.
I’d genuinely be interested in how other people working in procurement, quality, operations and supply chain approach this. What supplier risk do you find traditional scorecards most often miss?
