SuperQuill is private, fast AI dictation for Mac that shows a live transcript as you speak. Ramble turns think-out-loud brain-dumps into concise prompts that coding agents like Cursor can act on. Your voice never leaves your Mac.
I built this to be private, local ai voice dictation thats actually just as fast as the big alternatives you see out there. Although I know it's hardware dependent, I optimized for most machines (Mac only currently).
I added something most dictations apps don't which is showing the text while you speak. I think especially when trying to replace typing I think seeing what your saying is best way to speak efficiently when on the computer
I also added a cloud feature (which you can toggle) as well for better context handling and speed but that only takes the text transcribed on your machine so your voiceprint is completely local, only the text gets sent.
Ramble is another feature i added which takes long thought vomits, and condenses into clear thoughts and prompts which is especially useful when coding or getting work done with agents.
Longer term I want a private voice layer for repetitive browser / device stuff/ commands. Point with the cursor, speak, turn that into actions but plan to do as feedback comes in
Any blunt feedback is great. Dictated this with SuperQuill by the way.
