Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm the solo founder of SuperNova.
This started with a simple frustration: texting flattens everything. You can't hear sarcasm in a grey bubble, you can't hear that a friend is actually excited, and you definitely can't hear when someone says "i'm fine" and isn't. Tone is the whole message — and somewhere along the way we deleted it.
So I built SuperNova: a social app where you don't type, you talk. You post a 60-second voice "Drop," react out loud or with one of seven voice effects, and jump into voice threads anytime. It's async on purpose — none of Clubhouse's "be live or miss it" pressure. Just your real voice, whenever you want.
Building it solo taught me a lot — the hardest part wasn't the tech, it was making voice feel effortless and fun instead of awkward. The voice effects ended up being the unlock; they take the pressure off and make people actually want to post.
This is day one and I'd genuinely love your honest feedback. 🎙️
