Here's my story with Supercal:
😣 Too many meetings
A few months ago I was struggling using apps like Calendly and Cal.com because of the way they treat meetings. Anyone could come and schedule a meeting at any time with me. My day was broken up into tiny blocks of time for tasks. And this is where the idea for Supercal came from.
⚡️ Matching meetings to focus time
So I thought: why not schedule according to the most CONVENIENT times? It's preferable to batch meetings together and have has bigger blocks of free time open. That's where the idea for Supercal came from.
🔥 Dev, pre-launch, and now launch
I began learning how to code and building Supercal in December. In early March I released it, got the first users and revenue, and now I'm showing it to you here on PH :D
What sets Supercal apart:
👉 "Maximize deep work time" approach VS "my calendar as a blank slate" approach
👉 Set up rules to batch meetings together, keep days without meetings days free from them, and guarantee X amount of hours of deep work per day.
👉 Internal meeting mode - inconvenient times to meet get blocked in your Google Calendar so team members can't book them (coming soon)

Love this - mostly because every time someone wants to book time with me, it takes me an extra 5 minutes to assess my calendar and make a decision. Seems like Supercal could help do away with a lot of that extra cognitive load. Also generally just appreciate products that have strong embedded PLG 🚀
