It’s been close to 6 months since I started building Summario. I began on Replit: everything in the cloud, instant setup, and I quickly got addicted to building. I dropped a few initial projects that are still sitting there, but I soon shifted my full focus to Summario because it was solving a real problem I personally faced.
The news has become overwhelmingly noisy—more narrative than signal. I kept jumping between multiple sources just to read about the topics I actually care about. With the tech world in another massive transition (“The Coming Wave”), staying on top of what mattered was taking too much time. So I started building.
I built a web version first. Traction wasn’t there. I almost scrapped the whole thing. Life took over, the day-to-day caught me, and Summario went to the back burner. Then I came across Anti-Gravity, and I decided to rebuild Summario as a mobile-first experience.
I integrated Google Gemini 2.5 Flash on the backend, built the app with React Native and Expo, and finally hit a milestone I’m proud of.
Today, I’m launching Summario.
