I built SublettingU because prior to developing, I found a major inefficiency within the off-campus housing process. Students who have an internship or are looking to go abroad face handfuls of issues. These issues consist of eating rent costs while away, liability issues that stem from a snapchat text agreement, and many more. On the other side, the main source of finding a sublet happen to be Facebook housing groups. I saw how inconvenient these could be and wanted to bring a free solution. There is zero monetary incentive for the company, rather just a student trying to help other students.
