I'm Elliot, one half of subding - the other half is Mitch. The two of us, building this as a small 'indie' Micro SaaS around our other projects.
The itch was simple. We wanted to know when people on Reddit mentioned one of our products, a competitor, or just a phrase we cared about. We wanted a simple way to get reddit keyword alerts delivered via Webhook or in Slack/Discord that we could act on quickly.
So we built the version we actually wanted. Pick a keyword, and subding keeps an eye on Reddit posts and comments for it. When it comes up, you get pinged where you already are: Slack, Discord, email or a webhook. All four are on every plan, because paywalling a notification always felt a bit cheeky.
That's the whole thing. No sentiment scores, no feed to scroll, no dashboard to remember to open. Just the alert, about five minutes after the thread goes up.
