StudyLoop
Turn your study material into a smarter learning loop.
Exam tomorrow. Notes everywhere. What do you actually revise? StudyLoop turns your PDFs and slides into an interactive way to study. Generate quizzes from your own material, see your performance and weak areas, and ask questions with answers grounded in your uploaded content. For college exams, JEE, NEET, or everyday learning, StudyLoop keeps your study material and practice in one place. Built by students who know the “I should've started earlier” feeling way too well.
Hey Product Hunt Fam! 👋
I’m Sanya, one of the makers behind StudyLoop.
Honestly, we built this out of pure exam panic. We’re students, so we know the drill: it’s 2 AM, the exam is tomorrow, and you’re staring at 200 slides wondering, "What do I even read first?"
Most study tools just throw endless flashcards or random quizzes at you. But they don't actually tell you where you’re messing up. You end up wasting precious time re-reading things you already know, while your actual weak spots stay untouched.
That’s why we created StudyLoop — to make revision straightforward and fast:
- Drop in your notes: Upload lecture slides, PDFs, or raw materials in seconds.
- Find your weak spots: Get quick diagnostic practice that actually tells you *what* you don’t understand.
- Cut through the noise: Focus only on high-yield topics so you don't burn out the night before a test.
We built something we genuinely needed ourselves, and we’d love to know what you think!
Quick question: What’s the most annoying part of your current study or revision routine?

Love that it actually flags your weak spots instead of just quizzing you randomly, so much better than rereading the same slides at 2am hoping it sticks. Does it handle messy handwritten notes too, or mostly typed slides and PDFs for now?
Hey, Product Hunt! I'm Insharah, and I helped build StudyLoop.
The problem I faced was that most "AI study tools" answer questions using whatever the model already knows, not your actual lecture material. That's not studying, that's just chatting with a general-purpose LLM that happens to have your PDF open in a tab.
So StudyLoop only answers from what you upload; it parses your PDFs, chunks and embeds them locally, and if your slides don't cover something, it says so instead of making something up. It also builds a prerequisite graph from your material, generates flashcards grounded in the actual content, runs spaced repetition, and when you get something wrong, it traces back to which earlier concept is actually causing the gap, instead of just telling you to "review chapter 3" again.
Everything's local/self-hosted where it matters—embeddings run on CPU, no data going to third-party AI APIs beyond generation itself.
I won't pretend it's perfect! As the primary backend engineer, I would much rather hear what breaks for you than pretend it's polished.
Here's a question I have for you guys: What's the last time an AI tool confidently gave you a wrong answer about your own course material?
StudyLoop: Study smarter from your mistakes, not just your notes.
Most study tools give you more content to consume. StudyLoop flips that. It turns your own doubts and mistakes into a revision loop that actually sticks.
Upload your material. Get quizzes generated from it. Learn from where you went wrong not just what you already know.
As someone who has ADHD and knows exactly how it feels to read the same notes five times and retain nothing, we built this for. And then realised others needed it too.
It's free. It's live. And it took courage to ship it.
If you've ever felt like studying harder wasn't working, this is for you.

Would mean everything.
I love the idea of this app!! I’m definitely recommending this to a sibling going through the JEE phase
Loved the app and the design! It worked really smoothly for me, with no issues overall.
I especially loved the “back to school” vibe haha 😎
There are just a couple of things that might need a small fix: 1:When creating a course, it can sometimes accidentally get duplicated 😅
2: flashcard generation can take a lot of time 😅 3: when using flashcards they can get stuck and not let you choose an answer
Other than that, the app is really amazing, and I’m looking forward to seeing more updates!
