I’m Mikita, the maker of StudyLock.
We first launched StudyLock on Product Hunt more than a year ago. Back then, the idea was simple: instead of only blocking distractions, students should be able to earn their screen time back by actually studying.
Since that first launch, we shipped 19 App Store updates, and the app evolved a lot. StudyLock started as a simple focus tool, but it has now become a more complete AI study system.

When we launched, we believe StudyLock was one of the first iOS apps to connect real app blocking with education. Most focus apps only blocked distractions, and most learning apps only helped with studying. StudyLock tried to connect both: learn first, then unlock.
Now, even bigger education apps are starting to move in a similar direction, which makes us believe even more in the core idea: students should earn screen time by actually studying, not just by waiting.
