Studylo
A free study tracker for school and university students
Studylo is a study tracking app for students. Log your sessions, organize subjects, and set personal goals to keep your studying consistent. Dig into detailed stats to see how your hours break down across subjects, track streaks, and spot patterns in how you study. On the social side, you can see what your friends are studying in real time, compete on leaderboards, and work toward shared goals together. Free to use.
I am Olek, the creator of Studylo, here to share my journey with you.
I have always been a fan of science and studying, and yet I also always lacked motivation to do that. I was looking for the "perfect tool" to actually see what and how much I am studying, but also something that would motivate me to study more consistently and efficiently. I am a perfectionist, so having a structure which I would follow was an important part for my studies.
I juggled many study tracker apps, planners, todo-list apps, just to find which would suit me. As it turned out, none did. Of course, most of them were great, but they didn't really have everything the way I wanted and needed a study app to have. There was no simple way to actually have everything I needed in one platform.
Studylo answers this exact problem. It is not just another "product to sell", it is the thing I created for myself first, and then decided to share with the rest of the world.
I was looking for something that would do all of those things:
Track how much and what I study
Give me some analysis or stats
Give me a roadmap on what to study next
Allow me to actually see the progress I've made
Compete with my friends (which, as I found, was one of the best motivators to study)
Allow to manage my schedule and to-do list
Have a nice UI and UX, so using the app would feel nice
And Studylo does... most of the things I needed (for now). You can track how much and what you study, see detailed statistics, as well as compete and study with your friends - all within one app, which, at least in my opinion, looks great.
When me and my friends started using it while studying for our finals, we noticed that our motivation grew. When someone was studying, and we weren't, we felt pressure - exactly the thing that motivated us to start studying ourselves. When someone has logged 3 hours of studying, while we only spent one hour, we would start doing even more, just so we could rock the leaderboards.
And now, I want to share the app that has helped me and my friends study, with all of you.
It is not just "another study tracker", although it might seem like it is. This is a passion project, created for users and with users in mind, not for profit, which is why it is currently completely free. I didn't want to just create a service to sell, I wanted to create something that I myself would use daily, and something that would help me, as well as my friends, study more consistently and more efficiently
So, if you are a student, I genuinely recommend you check Studylo out and tell me your thoughts! It is still in its early days, and we already have lots of plans and ideas, which we are working on implementing, so we would love to hear from you!
