Stuck
AI overlay that knows your game - get unstuck in seconds
For PC gamers who hate alt-tabbing to YouTube. Press a key, ask, get a wiki-grounded answer in seconds. 300+ games auto-detected. Spoiler control. Voice + controller. No telemetry. Windows. Free to start.
Spent the last 4 months building Stuck - sharing today because I'm genuinely curious what this community thinks.
**Why I built it:**
Got tired of the same loop every time I got stuck in a single-player game. Alt-tab to YouTube, scrub through a 15-minute walkthrough to find my specific 30-second moment, lose the flow, sometimes get spoiled on stuff I wasn't even asking about.
I wanted a tool that just sits over the game. Press a key, ask, get an answer in seconds. No alt-tab, no browser, no context switching.
**What it actually does:**
- Auto-detects what game you're playing
- 300+ games supported with real wiki RAG (not generic AI guesses, actual game-specific answers)
- Always-on-top transparent overlay (works over your game, doesn't break flow)
- 5-mode spoiler control - Hint nudges, Walkthrough gives full solutions, Spoiler goes all in. Plus a "Blind" persona that locks Walkthrough + Spoiler for purists
- Voice mode (hands-free) + Controller panel (gamepad navigable - L3+R3 opens quick actions)
- 6 languages
**Tech decisions I'm proud of:**
- Tauri + React ~80 MB RAM, zero FPS impact
- gilrs (Rust gamepad library) instead of Web Gamepad API — works when window is hidden, anti-cheat friendly
- Always-on-top transparent overlay (no DirectX hooking - anti-cheat safe by design)
- Wiki-grounded RAG per game (real data, not hallucinated boss strategies)
**On privacy:**
No passive screen capture (only when you trigger a screenshot). No always-on mic (only when voice mode is on). No background telemetry, no ad SDK, no training on your conversations.
**On pricing:**
Free tier (limited daily questions, all 300+ games). Pro $7.99/mo with honest fair-use limits - not "unlimited*" marketing language.
**Honest limitations:**
- Windows only for now (macOS/Linux on the roadmap if interest is there)
- 300+ games supported but wiki depth varies per game
**Would love feedback on:**
- Does the auto-game-detection feel magical, or just expected at this point?
- The spoiler control concept - useful or gimmicky?
- What game should I prioritize adding deeper wiki support for next?
Happy to answer anything about the tech, the journey, or what I got wrong along the way. Thanks for taking a look 🙏

Stuck was hunted by Tuğberk TOY. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
