Easily accept one-time, recurring, or pay-what-you-want payments, and turn on tax collection, coupons, and more.
When we first launched Stripe Checkout in 2014, the product was designed to keep customers on your site while paying. In 2019, we moved to a Stripe-hosted page to offer functionality like Apple Pay out of the box. With this new version you can get all the features and optimizations of Checkout, while keeping payment on your site.
We think embedded Checkout is a great way to accept payments on your website for whatever you’re building. :) And we’re excited to give users like you another way to start quickly accepting online payments with Stripe.

this is great as i've had a hypothesis about embedding checkout into my product lately for more control and leverage of the customers on my end, instead of referring them to stripe's end. will give this a try for sure
OK. I like the going back to the origin idea. I will use this a lot as I don't need to add a full ecommerce store for many clients with a few products.
