I got tired of the Stripe 2.9% myth. Like most SaaS founders, I assumed my rate was ~2.9% + $0.30. Then I actually exported my Balance CSV and did the math. Between international cards, FX conversions, and that brutal $0.30 fixed fee on $5-10 micro-transactions, my real blended rate was hovering around 5%.
Stripe's dashboard is gorgeous, but it's designed to make you feel good about gross volume. It doesn't exactly shout "hey, you're bleeding money on fees."
I wanted to dig into this properly, but after seeing API key leak horror stories, there was no way I was connecting my live financial data to a third-party tool. So I built something dead simple: a CSV-only tool that runs in your browser. You drag and drop your Stripe Balance CSV, and it shows exactly where your fees are leaking.
