I built Stretch because most people (including me!) sit way too much and stretch way too little. But most stretching apps feel like mini yoga classes—overcomplicated, long, or too spiritual. Stretch is different: 5-minute routines, super clear visuals, and zero fluff. It’s made to fit into your life without taking over your life. The real win? Seeing people who never stretched before now doing it every day—and loving how they feel. That’s what I’m most proud of. Would love your thoughts, feedback, or favorite mobility tips!

The idea is great and the UI is super cute! It'd be even better if there was an option to set daily reminders. Congrats on the launch!

Very helpful little idea. Since I started working, I often have to sit in front of the computer for a long time, and I feel my body is getting stiffer and stiffer. I hope Stretch can help me!

This is going straight into our office wellness Slack. Short, smart and actually useful.

apka sandesh thoda adhura lag raha hai:

"Ek kutte aur khargosh ki ladai jungle mein hoti hui kapdon..."

Kya aap isse ek kahani banana chahte hain? Ya kisi specific format mein poochhna chahte hain – jaise poem, script, ya joke? Kripya thoda aur spasht batayein taaki main behtar madad

This is super cool and so very useful!

@stefan, congratulations on the launch! We'd love to feature your story sometime!

I just performed my first set of exercises, and found the app to be enjoyable. I liked how clear and well-designed the onboarding experience was. It felt very easy to get everything set up, and it didn't feel like the process was too long or cumbersome.

However, I did not find the experience of conducting a set of stretches as enjoyable. When I began today's stretches, I was expecting to be told what was coming up and how to prepare for the first stretch but instead I was only given three seconds before that first stretch started. There was no warning, no explanation. It seems like the app expected me to have already explored all of today's stretches, read all of the details and practice them before starting. I didn't do any of those things so I felt like I needed to pause the recording every time a new stretch appeared on screen so I could read about it and understand how to do it. I need some time to prepare in between different stretches. I don't like how the app automatically moves on to the next stretch before I'm ready.

A couple of the stretches were simply not possible for me. I am not flexible enough to do some of the stretches, and trying to do so causes me concern because I think I am going to hurt myself. I would really like to be able to mark some stretches as ones that should not be suggested for me.

I was also very confused when I was shown a stretch that only stretched one side of my body. For example, I was shown a lateral lunge stretch which would only stretch one of my legs. But once that stretch was over, I was not directed to perform the stretch again on the other side of my body. The app just moved on to the next stretch. Was I supposed to split that stretch across both sides of my body? It feels like the app doesn't recognize that I have two sides to my body.

Overall, I love the simplicity of this app. I get in, I do my stretches, and I get out and on with my life. However, the process of recording a set of stretches could use improvement as I've described above. One day it would sure be really neat to see the characters displayed on screen as animated characters rather than static images, but that's more of a wish for the future than something necessary now.

I've tried other apps, but they expect gym level energy. This one actually works for lazy days and tight mornings. Much more practical.

Congrats on the launch Stefan! Stretch looks super intentional and well-built. I’m a designer and builder myself, so I get what it takes to bring something like this to life. If you’re ever looking for someone who gets both sides of the product game, I’m around. I’d love to connect.

Congrats on launching Stretch! I love the focus on simplicity and short routines—definitely something I need. I’m curious, does Stretch offer any way to track progress or set reminders to help build a daily habit? Also, are there any plans to add personalized routines or integrate with wearables like Apple Watch in the future?

love the idea, hope you can share the final results (can't find the link that's why) as well for us to try it out!

Love this idea. Since being remote, I am less active. Still exercising, but it is only one – one and a half hour session per day.
I need some exercises during the day esp when I do work.
