The initial spark for this project actually came from trying out similar features in mainstream AI tools like Gemini Gem. While the underlying AI models are undeniably powerful, I found the actual end-to-end user experience to be quite disjointed. They failed to seamlessly integrate these capabilities into a polished product that users can easily consume and enjoy.
We all have precious moments—a child's first steps, a dinner with family, or a special trip—and they deserve a much better, warmer experience than a clunky AI chat interface. That’s why I decided to build Storybook AI myself.
