Backlinks are still what moves Domain Rating, and what makes Google and the AI engines take a site seriously. Stork Wire builds them for you: a small news section on your own domain, real articles about your market, and members citing each other the way news does. You see every article before it publishes and can block any mention. Every page discloses it. We turn most applicants down. And your price is a formula, not a list - stronger domains pay less, down to free.

Hi Product Hunt I run a handful of small products - a sleep tracker, a calculator site, a couple of others. They all had the same problem: nobody links to them. No links means Google barely crawls you and the AI engines have no reason to mention you, and there is no amount of good product that fixes that on its own. So I did what everyone does. I looked at buying links. The market is $4.99 "DR 90+ backlinks" and people guaranteeing ChatGPT will recommend you in 90 days. Nobody can guarantee that - I've measured it, ChatGPT only runs a web search about 74% of the time, so being cited isn't deterministic for one engine, let alone four. What I built instead: each of my sites runs a small news section on its own domain, covering its own market, and those sections cite each other the way news cites anything. It worked on my own sites before I offered it to anyone, and every article on the landing page is a live page you can open right now. Then I opened it up, and two things changed as I went. First, the way in. Originally you had to be listed in our directory to join, which is a gate about us, not about you. Now we read your domain instead - what you sell, who it's for, your Domain Rating, your traffic - and decide from that. Real products and services get in. Thin affiliate sites, content farms, and a short list of categories don't. Second, the price. I started at a flat monthly rate and it was backwards. If your site is strong, you're not a customer, you're a contributor - the links you send are worth more than the ones you get. So the quote is now a formula: the better your Domain Rating and organic traffic, the less you pay, down to zero. The rule is public even though the number is personal. That's roughly how the Associated Press worked for 180 years - a cooperative where members carried each other's stories and dues scaled with what you brought. I didn't invent anything, I applied it to links. Three things I'd want to know if I were reading this: You veto every mention. Nothing gets published citing you, or from you, without your say-so. The biggest player in this space explicitly refuses that. It's the main reason I'd trust us over them, and the reason we'll grow slower. Everything is disclosed. Every article carries "Published via Stork Wire." We're not pretending this is spontaneous. What I won't claim: a number of links, a Domain Rating figure, or that any AI engine will recommend you. Anyone promising those is guessing. What I promise is that you'll see every link before it goes live, know where each one came from, and get a full refund if your Domain Rating hasn't moved in 90 days. The network is small right now and I'd rather say that than fake momentum. It's also exactly why strong domains join free - early members carry the thing and should be paid in links, not billed for a network that isn't built yet. For Product Hunt: PRODUCTHUNT gets your first month free, and your articles publish from day one instead of waiting on the first invoice. 50 seats. Run the analysis and tell me what number you get. And if you think the whole category is indefensible - fair position, I'll take it seriously in the comments.
