Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Alex, and I built StorePeek.
Why I built it: Most store owners I talked to had the same problem. They had traffic but few sales, and no idea why. The usual audit tools gave them SEO scores and long lists of technical warnings, but nothing about what a shopper actually sees. A hire-a-consultant conversion audit costs hundreds and takes weeks.
What it does: StorePeek opens your store in a real browser on desktop and mobile. It closes the cookie and newsletter pop-ups like a visitor would, then has AI review the screenshots against a fixed 23-point conversion checklist. You get a PageSpeed score and fixes in priority order, in about a minute.
How it changed while I built it:
My first version let the AI judge freely. The results were interesting, but auditing the same store twice could give different answers, so I couldn’t trust it. Now every audit uses the same checklist, and the AI only decides pass, partial or fail for each point.
Pop-ups were blocking half the screenshots, so StorePeek now closes them first.
Owners wanted to know if their changes worked. Re-audits now show which issues you’ve fixed, and paid plans can run a check every month automatically.
