Hey Product Hunt 👋
A while back I was going through a stressful period — moved to another country because of the war in my state, uncertain situation, a lot of noise in my head. I started writing my thoughts in a Word document just to get them out. No structure, no app — just dumping whatever was in my head onto a page.
It helped. More than I expected.
I started reading about Stoicism around the same time. Marcus Aurelius wrote Meditations
for himself — never intended it to be published. Just a man processing his thoughts privately.
That resonated with me deeply.
I wanted to build something for people like me — people who just want to write their thoughts
down, clear their head, and maybe reflect a little. Just a quiet space.
One thing was non-negotiable from the start: your thoughts stay on your phone. No cloud,
no accounts. I didn't want to build something where someone else could have access to
your most private moments.
I built the entire app solo — between factory shifts, living in a hostel in Bratislava.
Claude was my co-developer, my code reviewer, and my rubber duck. It took months of evenings
and weekends.
Today it's live on the App Store.
If you've ever opened Notes or a Word doc just to get something out of your head — Stoicio
was built for you.
Would love your feedback and questions 🙏
