I built StickerForge because I kept running into the same problem: I wanted a sticker for a specific inside joke, or my dog, or some absurd scenario, and nothing existed. The options were generic clip art packs or complex AI image tools that required fifteen steps and still gave you something that looked wrong at sticker size.
The clay style came out of a lot of experimentation. Most AI image styles look fine at large sizes and fall apart the moment you shrink them. Clay is different. The rounded forms, the soft shading, the bold outlines -- all of it holds together at 40x40 pixels in a chat window, which is the actual environment where stickers live. It also has a warmth to it that photorealistic or flat illustration styles do not. People seem to respond to it.
The whole experience is meant to be fast and frictionless. No app to install, works on whatever device you have right now. You type a prompt, you get four options, you save the one you like. I wanted it to feel closer to texting than to using a design tool.
The free packs came from wanting to give people something immediately useful even before they try the generator. Sixteen stickers each, ready to download today.
