Cellular GPS tracker for kids with autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome who wander or elope. Real cellular GPS works anywhere with signal, not just near a phone. Parents see live location, set safe zones at home or school, and get alerted the moment their child leaves one. The mic is permanently disabled by design, so schools allow it where listen-in trackers get banned. $9.99/month, or pay once for lifetime, versus competitors charging hundreds a year. Built by a 17-year-old solo founder.

Hi everyone, I'm Ashwin Chunchu, the founder of StepSafe Kids, and I'm a 17 years old from Canada. I built this after spending six months talking with families whose kids wander or elope, especially kids with autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome. I kept hearing the same fear: one open door, one distracted moment, and a child is gone. Most trackers either rely on a nearby phone or include a microphone that makes schools uneasy about allowing them. So I built something different. StepSafe Kids uses real cellular GPS, so it works anywhere there is signal, and the mic is permanently disabled by design, which means schools actually allow it. Parents set safe zones and get alerted the second their child leaves one. It is $9.99 a month, or a one time payment for lifetime use, because peace of mind should not cost hundreds a year. I would love to hear what you think.
