I started collecting art. Every artist sends their certificate a different way. A PDF, a letter, a print. They all end up getting lost. Then I can't show what I actually hold, or what to insure. And even when I still have the certificate, nothing on it proves it's real.
Anyone can write a PDF. I need the artist checked, then signing it themselves. I need to know nobody changed it after. And I need the object in my hands to be the one on the certificate.
A folder for the PDFs doesn't fix any of that. So the artist signs the certificate, and the work carries the proof. A tag goes on the back. You tap the work and the check opens in the browser. A copied tag fails. If the email is gone, the record is still there to check.
The certificate was only half of it. The other half is the collection on the same work: what I hold, where it is, the photos and documents, and a schedule I can send an insurer. Selling comes later. This launch is the record you can check, and the file that doesn't live in a drawer.
