Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Aftaab, an indie developer from India.
Steepr started because I found myself repeatedly searching for tea steeping times or using generic phone timers that knew nothing about the tea I was brewing.
I wanted something simpler.
Instead of picking a timer and entering a duration manually every time, I wanted to pick the tea and start brewing immediately.
So I built Steepr.
It comes with built-in tea presets, favorites, Apple Watch support, customizable alerts, and iCloud sync. The goal was to create something calm and focused that feels like it belongs in a tea ritual rather than another productivity app.
One thing I learned while building it is that tea drinkers are surprisingly particular about timing, temperature, and consistency. The more I talked to people, the more I realized how often they were relying on memory, screenshots, or browser tabs just to brew a cup of tea.
Steepr is my attempt to solve that problem in a simple way.
