A few months ago we launched Steady1 here as an idea. We had no app yet, just a problem we knew too well and a request: tell us your stories.
You did. Close to 100 people filled in our survey. That shaped everything we built next.
Today Steady1 is live on the App Store and Google Play.
If you missed the first launch: I've lived with type 1 diabetes for over 20 years. Growing up, my mum carried the admin, and I only felt its full weight when I moved out and it all landed on me. My partner and co-founder builds the tech and sees it from the carer's side. Between us, we know where it gets heavy.
Steady1 handles the part of diabetes no glucose reading shows:
Supplies: every sensor, pen and kit tracked down to batch and expiry, so reordering happens on your schedule, not in a panic.
Appointments: notes and what to bring, ready before you walk in.
Travel: packing checklists matched to your trip dates, plus a dose check when you change time zones.
