StayPage is a digital guest journal for vacation rentals listed on Airbnb, Vrbo, or independently. Guests scan a QR card at the property and leave a story, photos, and favorite local finds, with no app or account required. Each page joins the property's journal and is organized into yearly volumes. Hosts can publish pages instantly or review them first. If a paid plan lapses, the journal becomes read-only, but every guest memory remains.

Top comment

StayPage started with a beat-up paper journal on the counter of a beach house.

I picked it up expecting names and dates. Instead, I found ten years of tiny memories: a child's first fish, a
proposal on the dock, and a note to ask for the corner table at the Boathouse Grill. Reading it was one of the
best parts of the trip.

But that book could only live on one counter. Guests could not add photos. A host could not share it with someone
deciding where to stay. And if it disappeared, all of those stories went with it.

So I built StayPage, a digital guest journal for vacation homes.

Guests scan a QR card already in the home. There is no app, account, or password. They can write a story, add
photos and a favorite local find, then turn it into a page the home keeps in its journal.

I kept the product deliberately quiet. There is no social feed, no follower count, and no advertising. It is a
journal, not a network. If a host's paid plan lapses, the journal becomes read-only, but the memories remain.
Billing should never erase someone's story.

Starter is free forever for one home and unlimited public written pages. Host is $9 per month or $81 per year for
the full scrapbook and host controls.

I would really value your honest take:

1. On the last night of a trip, would you leave a page or skip it?
2. If you host, would you share the public journal in your listing?

Thanks for taking a look. Every stay leaves a page.

Who hunted StayPage?

StayPage was hunted by Aaron Maderia. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
