State of Technology turns tech-news overload into a clean event feed. It clusters duplicate coverage across major outlets, shows how many independent sources covered each story, detects fast-moving stories, and links every source article so you can scan the real state of tech in minutes. No account required.
Hey Product Hunt, I built State of Technology because my tech-news feed kept showing the same announcement 20 times. SoT clusters coverage into one event, ranks stories by independent source count, and flags stories accelerating across outlets. It’s for builders, founders, engineers, researchers, and investors who want the top tech stories without duplicate noise. I’d love feedback on whether the corroboration count and trending signal match how you decide what’s worth reading, and which sources you think are missing.
When you open a story, State of Technology now shows other coverage around the same topic/event, so you can quickly compare sources instead of seeing the same announcement repeated across your feed.
This was one of the main missing pieces for making the product feel less like a news list and more like a map of what’s actually happening.
Would love feedback from PH folks: should related stories prioritize source diversity, recency, or strongest corroboration first?
