Startup marketplaces show revenue, MRR, and profit. Startup Index adds the numbers buyers usually calculate themselves: ROI and payback period. Compare acquisition opportunities faster, understand potential returns upfront, and spend less time in spreadsheets before reaching out to a seller. Built for founders, operators, and anyone actively looking to buy profitable SaaS businesses and apps.
Hi everyone! I'm Rajesh, the maker of Startup Index.
While looking through startup marketplaces, I kept noticing the same thing: listings do a great job showing how a business has performed, but they rarely help answer a buyer's next question "Is this a good acquisition?"
That led me to build Startup Index.
Instead of stopping at revenue, MRR, and profit, every listing also includes ROI and payback period, making it easier to compare opportunities before contacting a seller.
This is the first version, and I'm actively improving it based on feedback from people who buy, acquire, or evaluate startups.
I'd genuinely love to hear:
What metrics do you look for before considering an acquisition?
What's one thing you wish every startup listing included?
Thanks for checking it out, and I'm looking forward to your feedback!

Startup Index was hunted by Rajesh Yadav. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
