I didn’t build StartPosting because I wanted to build another AI tool. I built it because I was tired of feeling guilty about not posting. I’ve been running an e-commerce skincare business for years, and I always knew social media could bring in more customers. The problem was consistency. It wasn’t that I didn’t have ideas or believe in my products. I simply had too many other things to do. Orders, customers, inventory, suppliers, website issues… there was always something more urgent. And when I finally had a moment to think about Instagram or LinkedIn, I was usually too tired to create anything. So I’d tell myself I’d post tomorrow. Tomorrow became next week. Next week became next month. Meanwhile, I knew my products were good, I knew people could benefit from seeing them, and I knew I was leaving opportunities on the table simply because I wasn’t showing up consistently. That’s what made me build StartPosting. I wanted something incredibly simple: upload a product photo, choose the kind of content I want, and get something I can actually publish without spending an hour thinking about what to write, how to structure the post, or what the visual should look like. And honestly, that’s still how I use it today. I built StartPosting for the business owner who knows they should be posting more, but already has 50 other things on their plate.
