Hi everyone — I'm Gary, the dad behind Start With Math.
I built this because my son struggled with math for years. What ultimately helped him wasn't simply doing more math — it was going backward, finding the gap in his understanding, fixing it, and then moving forward.
That experience stuck with me, and I spent this year trying to build that idea into something other students could use.
Start With Math is still very much a work in progress. I'm not here pretending we've solved math education. I'm here because I want to find out whether this approach actually helps.
We're already testing with a small group of students, and I'm hoping Product Hunt brings in people who will try it, challenge it, and tell me what we're getting wrong.
