Hey everyone, I'm really excited to finally launch Stack Poker.
The idea came from a surprisingly common problem. My friends and I would decide to play poker, we'd have a deck of cards... but nobody had poker chips.
There are plenty of apps for playing poker online, but almost nothing built for people sitting around the same table with real cards. We didn't want to replace the social experience, we just wanted to replace the chips.
So I built Stack.
The host creates a game, sets the buy-in, blinds and chip denominations, and everyone joins with a short code. From there, Stack keeps track of stacks, betting, blinds, turns, pots and payouts while you continue dealing physical cards as normal.
The first version actually launched a few days ago, but after getting feedback I discovered quite a few bugs and edge cases in the poker logic. I spent the last few days fixing everything I could find, testing different scenarios and making sure gameplay behaves correctly before sharing it here.
The app is completely free, no signup, no subscriptions and no paid features. It also doesn't handle real-money payments or gambling; it's simply a digital replacement for poker chips.
