Hi Product Hunt — I’m Özkan, the developer behind SQLOZ. I’ve been programming since the Commodore 64 days, when 64 KB of memory meant you really had to think about every byte. That habit apparently never left me. I built SQLOZ because I wanted a database tool that felt like a real Mac application and stayed focused on the things I care about most: speed, predictable resource usage, safety, and practical DBA workflows. SQLOZ is built with Swift and AppKit and supports MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. Some of the features I’m especially interested in getting feedback on: bounded streaming for very large datasets Safety Gate for risky UPDATE and DELETE operations SSH Jump Host and PHP Tunnel connections visual schema design and query building data compare and sync process monitoring, lock inspection, EXPLAIN analysis, and index guidance Credentials are stored securely in macOS Keychain. This is the database tool I wanted to use on my own Mac, and I’d genuinely love feedback from people who work with databases every day: what feels good, what feels wrong, and what would make SQLOZ useful enough to keep open all day? Thanks for taking a look.
