Hi Product Hunt, I'm an art director and product designer from Portugal.
I wanted to use what I know about design and music to build an app with the lowest possible threshold to get in and the most room to experiment 🧪 SQIA (Sequoia) is a field of dots: touch a dot and it lights. Drag across the field and you've drawn a sound phrase. The field is already tuned to a key, so whatever you touch belongs with everything else, and once a pattern is running it keeps playing on its own. A replay is never quite the same twice the sound evolves.
The real magic begins when two tracks play at once. Combine sounds, bend them with effects, let one pull against the other, and a handful of dots becomes a small journey 👣
It is made for people who love sound and small machines but never learned the rules.
