Most baby registries make you guess what you need before your baby arrives. Sprigloop works the other way. Scan what you already own, and it shows exactly what's missing by category and size. Your registry updates as you receive gifts. Family and friends see real gaps ("need 4 more bodysuits in 0-3M") not a wish list. No duplicates. No awkward returns. Built by an expecting dad in Detroit.
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Chris, the maker.
I'm expecting my first kid in August and couldn't find an app that solved the actual problem: not knowing what I already owned vs what I still needed. Every registry tool makes you guess before your baby arrives. Sprigloop works the other way. You scan what you have, it shows you the gaps.
The registry piece came out of that. Instead of a wish list you build by hand, your family and friends see real gaps with real quantities, organized by size window. "Need 4 more bodysuits in 0-3M" is a lot more useful than "bodysuits."
I'm building this for Roo (that's what we're calling him until August) but also for anyone who's been through the chaos of duplicate onesies and wrong-size gifts.
Happy to answer any questions about how it works, what's coming, or what it's like building a baby app while actually expecting a baby.
