Ctrl+F for Videos - Search and find anything in your videos instantly
Top comment
Hi there! Built this tool for myself as a video editor because I hated finding specific clips in long videos. If I had to edit a wedding video and I need to find romantic clips, I'd need to watch the whole thing. What if I can just type "romantic moments" and I get the clips? That's how Spottr was born. Shared this idea with some communities and they also want it in other industries such as sports analysis, documentary making, and surveillance. What other industries do you think would this be useful to?

A “Ctrl+F for videos” is such a simple but powerful idea — saves so much time when searching through content. Love that Spottr makes video search instant. Curious — does it also work across platforms or only for uploaded videos?
How granular are queries—can I search combos like “close-up + laughter + golden hour”? Any support for speaker/topic detection or custom tags?
Hey Raphael @raphael_quinones ,
Congrats on the launch! The "Ctrl+F for videos" concept is so clever and immediately makes sense. This is a massive time-saver for anyone who works with video.
It seems like this could be useful for so many different creators and industries. I'm curious, what are your main marketing strategies for getting the word out to all those different groups?
That's so cool. Is it possible to/ will be possible to search by uploading an image? Say, to find all the episodes with a specific person.
It's a shame that it doesn't work with audio (yet, I guess). Cool though!
Congrats on the launch!
Heads up- links on pricing page are broken (for me) https://usespottr.com/#pricing
Ctrl+F for videos is so clever. Finding exact clips or mentions in long footage is painful - this is a massive time saver for content teams. Great idea!
This could work even on content creators / ugc who are organizing their brolls! Good stuff!
Pretty cool! How does this work when the video has voices too? Does it conflict with the visual search, or can you search just for that?
