I built Spoof Me because changing your IP address with a VPN does not change many of the signals that websites can still read from your browser, including your timezone, language, user agent, platform, screen size, device properties, CPU cores, memory, and touch support.
A lot of spoofing extensions modify only one value at a time. Spoof Me takes a profile-based approach, applying a coordinated browser identity across multiple related signals. You can choose from built-in identities, create custom profiles, switch identities across tabs, and receive a warning badge when a website attempts fingerprinting.
Spoof Me is available for both Chrome and Firefox. It is also useful for developers and QA teams testing websites across different browsers, devices, languages, screen sizes, and timezones.
It does not claim to provide perfect anonymity, and it does not collect, sell, or transmit personal browsing data.

The coordinated identity profile approach is what stood out, so many spoofers only touch the user agent and leave the rest wide open. Switching profiles across tabs on the fly is handy for comparing how sites react, and the fingerprint warning caught a couple of trackers I wasn't expecting to find.
