I'm the maker of Splitr - a small side project that started out of frustration with our own cricket club.
Every month we'd have pitch fees, equipment costs, drinks after the match. Someone always paid upfront, and I'd end up chasing everyone on WhatsApp trying to figure out who owed what. It wasn't one bill, it was a running total across the whole season, and I couldn't find anything that handled that well for a club setting.
So I built something for us. A running ledger, expenses tied to events, everyone always knows their balance. It grew from there.
It's far from perfect, but it's been genuinely useful for our club and I hope it helps others in the same situation. Free, no ads, iOS and Android.
