Spintax
The content template language, with five open engines
A template language for text that varies by construction, not by chance. Enumerations, permutations, variables, conditionals, plurals. Have an AI draft the template once, then render forever locally — no per-generation API calls. Browser playground, MCP server, five MIT engines.
Generating each page straight from an LLM has two problems: you pay per text,
and the outputs converge — same prompt, same shapes, near-identical pages.
Spintax inverts it. The model drafts one richly varied template; the engine
then expands it into thousands of variants locally, deterministically, for
free. Every variation is one you defined, so quality doesn't drift across
page 400. An editor reviews one template instead of proofreading a thousand texts.
It's a real language, not flat {a|b|c}: permutations that pick and order a
subset, scoped variables, value-driven conditionals, locale-aware plurals,
includes. Five independent MIT engines — JS, PHP, Python, Object Pascal, .NET —
held to one shared corpus of golden fixtures, so a template renders identically
on all of them. Nothing calls a service of mine; every render happens in your runtime.
Playground runs in the browser, no install. There's also an MCP server if you
want agents to validate and render templates, and a native Windows editor.

Who hunted Spintax?
Spintax was hunted by Franky. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
