Every expense tracker I tried started by asking for my bank login. That's the part I couldn't get comfortable with, and it's also the part that breaks constantly. The connection drops, the categories are wrong anyway, and half the world's banks aren't supported at all. So I built the one that doesn't ask.
You type "lunch 18 today", or you say it. It's on your phone and in any browser, on one account. Scanning a receipt is on Pro, which also lifts every free limit.
Two things I put real time into that are easy to miss.
Splitting with people who won't install your app. -
This is where group expense apps quietly fall over. You share a link, and whoever owes you opens it and sees the balances and the shortest way to settle. They don't need an account and they don't need to install anything. On Pro you can scan the restaurant receipt, and each person ticks what they actually had from the same link.
Pricing that isn't one US number converted badly. -
It's $2.99 a month in the US and ₹99 in India, because those are different places. I'm in India, so the alternative was hard to ignore.
It's built with Expo and Supabase, and it's local-first. Your ledger lives on your device and works offline, and it syncs to your account so the phone and the browser show the same numbers. Groups are the one part that needs a connection.
The free tier is unlimited transactions, 12 months of history and three budgets, with no card. I'll be here all day, and I'd genuinely like to hear what breaks.
This is one of the coolest apps I've used. I found the Group Feature the most useful. It's like Splitwise meets Less Complication. Although I haven't used the spending-tracking feature because I'm too lazy to note transactions daily, I have used the Group feature for one of our outings with friends. Easy to use and less complicated.
